Our Past Blends With Our Future
Our history goes way back! Our evolution has been a remarkable journey.
From 1989 to 1994, our founders, Tom Kapp and Sandy Meagher, worked together to expand corporate wellness for a Baltimore hospital, collaborating on the development of a shared vision of corporate health and wellness.
have been participating leaders and direct witness to the evolution of corporate health and wellness.
In 1994 MidAtlantic Corporate Health was incorporated, realizing this shared vision. The new company focused regionally and continued Meagher and Kapp’s commitment to responding and developing corporate fitness and wellness needs.
Then in 1998, our client base expanded beyond the Mid-Atlantic region. MountainWest Corporate Health was created to respond to clients west of the Mississippi. Both companies were held under Pioneer Health Group, LLC.
Since the early 2000′s, Pioneer Health Group continued to expand its onsite and telephonic Coaching Programs, leveraged technology with wellness portals, and incorporated strong incentive management and rewards programs to encourage greater employee participation.
In 2013, our evolution continued, as the former MidAtlantic, MountainWest and Pioneer Health Group were relaunched as under one brand that says it all – Elevation Corporate Health.
